Enrollment Requirements

Alabama State Law requires that all children enrolling for the first time in Mobile County Public Schools must present:

• a certified birth certificate
• a social security card
• Alabama certificate of immunization (blue card)
• two proofs of residence  (Proofs of residence must include the parent's or guardian's name and current street address.  P.O. Boxes are not acceptable.) All students enrolling for the 2009-2010 school year will be required to present two current proofs of residence at registration.
• rent receipt or property tax records or deeds
• utility bill or utility deposit receipt
• driver's license
• bank records
• notarized certificate of residence that is part of the registrations/certificate of residence form
