Please note: This uniform policy will be strictly enforced. Any student attending school out of uniform will be sent home until they have the proper attire.
Uniforms are currently requires in all Mobile County Public Schools. The uniform dress for Fonde students is listed below:
All students will be required to wear the brown "dirty bucks" shoes. No other shoes will be allowed. (You may purchase them at Walmart or Payless; the name-brand is not required.)
Girls
Navy jumpers or skirts
Navy and red plaid skirt (same as Dunbar)
Navy twill slacks or shorts
White button down shirts
White or red Polo shirt
Black or navy belt (not required for pre-k or kindergarten students)
Boys
Navy slacks or shorts
White button down shirts
White or red Polo shirts
Black or navy belt (not required for pre-k or kindergarten students)
Girls and Boys inside the building
Red or navy blue sweater (cardigan or pull-over)
School jackets when available
Students must also adhere to the following standards:
Haircuts must be traditional (no hair carvings).
Shirts must be tucked in to reveal belt.
Belts must be worn with pants that have loops.
Bandannas and hats are not allowed.
Dangling earrings are not allowed.
No facial jewelry (except earrings).
No make-up.
No grills.
Compliance measures:
This policy will be strictly enforced. Disciplinary action will be taken to enforce compliance with this policy. Students who do not comply with the policy will be denied admission until such time as they are in compliance, in accordance with the intent of the State Legislature. Students may be suspended for violation of the local school uniform dress code.
