This week, the Math-a-Thon Funbooks and sponsor forms will be sent home for students participating in the Math-A-Thon.  This is an event sponsored by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Fonde will be one of more than 10,000 schools across the country to take part in Math-A-Thon. To participate, students ask family and friends for pledges to solve math problems in the Math-A-Thon Funbook (grade level specific). The funds raised by the students benefit St. Jude, where doctors and scientists work to eradicate childhood cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Families are never asked to pay for the treatments received at St. Jude, so the money we raise will help St. Jude continue to offer these services to families.
