Report Cards
Report cards for second quarter will be sent on on Monday, January 12th.

Uniform Policy
Mandatory Uniform Dress Policy. Please note: This policy will be strictly enforced. Students attending school out of uniform will be sent home until they have the proper attire.

General Mills Box Tops for Education!
We are beginning to collect box tops from General Mills food items. Please save your box tops and send them to your child's teacher in an envelope or baggy. We will collect them at the end of each month. We will get 10 cents from each box top that you save.

Fonde Elementary is a Gold Award Winner!
For the fourth consecutive year, Fonde Elementary has again attained AYP status. This year, we received special recognition from the Mobile County Public School System. The MCPSS Gold Award is awarded to schools achieving AYP Status without applied formulas and increasing the proficiency for all students in both reading and math. The teachers and students at Fonde worked very hard last year in order to reach AYP. We congratulate them on their success!

NEW SCHOOL HOURS
School hours for the 2008-2009 school year will be 8:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The tardy bell will ring at 8:10 a.m. Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Enrollment Requirements
Please note: All students enrolling at Fonde for the 2008-2009 school year must present two current proofs of residence at the time of registration in addition to the following requirements.

School Supply List
A standard school supply list for all grade levels for the 2008-2009 school year can be found in the FORMS section and was sent home in all student report cards. Please note that this list is very general and individual teachers may request more specific items on the first day of school. Therefore, please limit items to those on this list in order to avoid unnecessary purchases. Also, please note that rolling bookbags will not be allowed this year for students in grades K-2.
